You cannot reapply for the scholarship as a graduate student if you have previously received the scholarship as an undergraduate student.

3. Does my transcript have to be official?

4. I submitted an incomplete application. Was it reviewed?

Due to the volume of applications, incomplete applications or those that include materials not requested will not be reviewed. Please ensure that you have submitted all required components of the application (application, personal statement, and transcripts) before the application deadline, in a single document.

Students currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university in the United States or Canada are eligible. Students need not be U.S. citizens.

10. I have more activities than those that will fit in the blanks on the application. May I submit additional pages for the application?

To be fair to all applicants, documentation should be limited to that requested in the application, in the space provided. Please list the most important activities in the blanks and submit only the documents requested in the application.

11. Do I need to request recommendation letters?

No, please submit contact information for references only. If the judges deem it necessary, they will contact your references to help assist in close decisions.

12. I am having trouble combining my documents into a single pdf file for submission. May I submit separate documents?

No. You may combine multiple pdfs with some version of Adobe. If you do not have access to a version of Adobe with this capability, please print your items and scan them into the computer as a single pdf file.
