Application Process
Application to the Kentucky Equine Management Internship (KEMI) requires:
- Submission of the Application Form
- Official Transcripts from all colleges awarding credits to the applicant
- A minimum of three letters of recommendation
- Application Fee

International students are welcome to apply however, these students will have to obtain (at their own expense) a J-1 Visa to legally live and work in the US.
Minimum Admission Requirements
Applicants to the KEMI program must have:
- Completed at least two years of a college curriculum with a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.0 (4.0 scale) or better in all college coursework
- Previous hands-on experience in the equine industry
- A strong work ethic and personal character and be dependable
Application Acceptance Dates
Applications to the KEMI program must be postmarked:
