Our mission is simple: help deserving students access the opportunities they need to succeed.* ## **Eligibility Requirements** - At least 17 years of age - Legal U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or Permanent Resident - Current college or university student (undergraduate or graduate) - Letter of Referral from Teacher or Professor ## **How to Apply** Step 1: Write a 500–800 word essay. Tell us why you're pursuing a degree in this field, and how you plan to use what you learn. Write it like you're talking to a friend. Most of all, be genuine and real. Step 2: Email it to us. Email your essay with your letter of recommendation to [scholarship@tnnursery.net](mailto:scholarship@tnnursery.net)with the subject line "TN Nursery Scholarship Application." Step 3: That's it! Tammy, the CEO & Founder of TN Nursery, reads every application personally in October and November. Winners announced December 31, awards distributed mid-January.   Awards TN Nursery awards $500–$1,000 scholarships to students pursuing higher education and working toward their future goals. #### Summary **Application Deadline:** December 30, 2026 @ 11:59 PM EST ###### INSIDER ADVICE > ***We don't read transcripts.* *We read your story.*** In the first two paragraphs of an essay, we can see the need. We're looking for students who are passionate about this work and need the money to keep going. **Looking for some inspiration? Our scholarships have gone to students who are\*:** - ***Working through school*** – Holding down two jobs to put yourself through. We see you. We've been there. - ***First-generation students*** – No family financial backing.
